Annual Day Celebration

Mohan International School celebrated its Annual Day on Saturday, 22nd December, 2018 with great zest, vibrancy and elation. Sir Nawab Singh Nagar Ji was the chief guest on the occasion. Among all the dignitaries, present was Sir Ved Prakash Ji, Group General Manager Container Corporation of India. The program commenced with the lightning of the lamp by the honourable chief guest escorted by the principal Ms. Maushumi Banerjee. This entailed the bouquet presentation. The principal welcomes the guests and introduced the honourable chief guest to the gathering. This was followed by the welcome song. The cultural program was based in the theme 'Festivals of India'. The wide variety of festivals celebrated in India is a true manifestation of its rich culture and tradition. The aspirants of the school performed different festivals of India like Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid, Janmashtami, Onam, Dussehra, Baisakhi, Holi, Diwali, Christmas and National Festival. The students also enacted a Hindi play 'Akbar and Birbal' spellbounded the audience. Karate, a martial art was also depicted by the students of Mohan International School. They also described the benefits of Karate in front of the audience. They emphasised that they were benefited by self defence, confidence, increasing of energy through Karate. The chief guest was superlative in his appreciation of the students, teachers and management for the classic program presented. The aspirants were provided refreshment after the show. The program was culminated by the National Anthem.
